EXPERIENCE:

2003 to present: Darkhorse Entertainment, Gainesville, Florida.
Art Director. Responsible for the supervision of 4-24 employees for art direction and installations at Disney Animal Kingdom, Medieval Times in Georgia, over 30 restaurants, and several museums. Disney qualified for theme painting and concrete sculpting. Additional skills include the construction and finishing of custom concrete counter tops and estimating and bidding for projects.

2001 to 2003: Fireline Studios, Ocala, Florida.
Sculptor / Scenic Artist / Theme Painter. Same job responsibilities as for Scenic Productions. Additionally created life castings of various human forms for a haunted house production.

1998 to 2000: Scenic Productions, Gainesville, Florida.
Sculptor / Scenic Artist / Theme Painter / Site Supervisor / Assistant Shop Supervisor / Art Dept. Team Leader. Sculpted various figures (rocks / animals / people / props) for theme parks and museums. Assisted in the planning and supervising of job installations at Universal Studios, Disney and various museums throughout the country. Awarded ‘Employee of the Month’ six times. Additional skills include masonry sculpting, and welding.

1995 - 1998: Hippodrome State Theatre ,Gainesville, Florida.
Carpenter / Lead Carpenter / Scenic Artist. Assisted in all aspects of stage assembly and design, including carpentry, construction and artistry. Utilized different media and artistic techniques to create various visual effects (aging, marbleizing, faux wood grain finishing, etc.). Designed and painted signs and banners for advertisement of each production.

1994 - 1995: Exclusive Handprints, Miami, Florida.
Formulated the custom colors needed to make designs for handmade wall coverings and maintained an inventory library of these colors. Assisted in designing and creating color prints.

1992 - 1993: Terry Cook Contracting, Miami, Florida.
Post Hurricane Andrew demolishing, remodeling and reconstruction. Responsibilities included painting, carpentry, plumbing, roofing and some masonry work.

1978 - 1983: Modern Wallpaper, Easton, Pennsylvania.
Retail sales of wallpaper, paints /supplies, vertical/mini-blinds. Stocked and inventoried all merchandise. Mixed and matched custom colors for contractors/customers and maintained a library of the colors for future mixing orders. Additionally assisted in wallpaper hanging and painting.
